We'll be featuring guest speaker, PAM MALLOY.
She'll be talking about: “The children now love luxury. They have bad manners
and contempt for authority. They show disrespect for adults, and love to talk
rather than work or exercise. They contradict their parents, chatter in front
of company, gobble down food at the table, and intimidate their teachers.”
Sound familiar? Well that is a quote from Socrates (469-399 B.C) and it stands
to show us that not much has change over the years as the generations struggle
to relate to each other. If you find yourself struggling over perceived differences
between you and either younger or older generations in the workplace, this
seminar will spark your interest. Pam Malloy is a trainer with over 20 years
working with multigenerational workforces. She will discuss in a fun and motivating
way how to recruit, excite, retain and find success with all generations.
She will look at the worldviews of the 5 generations working today.
Pam brings 20 years of experience in training, management, sales and business
development working with companies. She has also trained and developed dozens
of professional trainers throughout her career. Pam has held a variety of
management positions including Director of Training, Automation, and Planning
for Allegiant Airlines and Regional Training Manager with Harrah’s Entertainment
both based in Las Vegas, NV, as well as Operations Manager with Charter Express
of Florida. Pam is a gifted public speaker, trainer, and director versed in
high-level adult learning principles and concepts in diverse groups from the
front-line employee to the Senior-level Executive at home with companies ranging
in size from one to over 25,000.
And INTIX too!
We'll also be talking about INTIX 2011! Committee chairs will be giving update
on the progress of planning and making another appeal for volunteers! Be sure
you don't miss it!
