The objectives of BAPTA are:
- Encourage professional growth and development for ticketing professionals.
- Provide support to its members through shared knowledge, experience, information and ideas.
- Promote the development and maintenance of a high standard of service to the ticket buying public.
- Promote the development and maintenance of fair and equitable ticketing practices.
- Promote confidence and goodwill among related segments of the ticketing industry.
- Act as a resource group to other organizations which require assistance with or information about ticketing.
